Pligg has gone on a downward spiral, the number of Pligg sites is declining swiftly, largely due to the amount of spam in which they receive, thanks to all the submitters available online .... there's hosted Pligg Submitters that are available for members of the web sites and then there are browser based Pligg submitters .... OK I put my hand up - I own one ....
Well I was honestly sick of the default Pligg submitters with 100s of Pliggs on the list and the majority of Pliggs were either dead and buried or had banned the members account - which all these submitters use .... so I made my own for personal use.
Why would anyone want to spam pligg sites ? the majority of them use a referral link - so that kills your link and most are no-follow .... so again they pass on no juice .... basically you are left with just the traffic.
Still these can be good if the admin of the site keeps track and on top of the listed Pliggs and that is no easy task .... trust me I have had to delete 80% of the default Pliggs and find some replacements.
