Use Swickis to create a Search Engine.

I can't express my joy for Swicki, they are easily the best means of search on any website, I have large website with 100's of pages, my main concerns are the navigation and showing visitors what I have and trying to give them the opportunity to find what they want.

Basicly I updated my website and made a Swicki for each celebrity and set of pages.

Blogger doesn't like Javascript in Blogs, but I will ignore that and hopefully it will work, as you can see the popular Keywords and search terms appear on the search cloud (at my choice) and sites are added by visitors and visitors can promote site they like (also i can manage submissions).

The best part though is the ability to add adsense to the search reults in the Swicki, at the moment Google is liking my Swickis and the swickis rank higher than my websites in some areas, but that's o.k because I promote my websites in the Swickis and they appear on top of search reults, so I get traffic to my sites and boost incoming links, while offering a great search option to visitors and earning more from Adsense.

With Google I was making 20-30 cents per day on searches, now with Swickis I make $4-$5 a day, and Google search doesn't promote your site like a Swicki.

I have been really busy at many of my websites and blogs, I have been working on Celebrities and Reality T,V websites and my new eBook Shop , I have added new eBooks and scripts free to download, also I have been working on the wholesale lists and downloads , so feel free to download them, heaps of traffic building ideas.

My newest effort has been celebrity Videos, Music Videos and Big Brother Videos, some of these are what I call seasonal websites and are only popular when the Celebrity, Musician or when Big Brother is on T.V.

Why did I go with Videos ? well that's easy, as they are a great Viral source of advertising, in the past week I had over 50 000 Videos viewed on external websites where my Videos are hosted or submitted to, with over 1000 Downloaded, I place my URL in the Videos and on the Websites where Videos are displayed, why did I mention Viral, well I have noticed a lot of Video websites are spidering Video hosts for artists and content, over 80 websites had added my Videos to them and even included my sites information.

So I recommend jumping on the Video craze and submitting Videos as often as possible.

My favorite method of traffic building is still webring and webrings, to my knowledge and experience adding your website to a webring will both : get your site indexed within search engines faster and provide a small to large amount of traffic per month, or if you put in the hard yards and create your own webring you will gain even more benefits and traffic.

My Winge on Forum Spam - SEO Blog

My latest winge is forum Spam.

I hate competing against forum Spam, this is a field of work taken by many website owners and webmasters, recently I have been trying to boost me S.E (search engine) ranking for my new topSite, but I am battling against forum spammers, these Spammers copy and paste the same message in many forums and in their effort improve rankings for the Website they are promoting.

The Drawbacks are :

Many Forum admins can ban and bring you and your site bad karma.
I (like many) do not like this form of spam and refuse to contribute to this spammers site.
Eventually your Links in the forums will be erased and your site will loose its position in the S.Es.
Forum members will/may reply and expect in return your feedback.

The Up-Side. (un-fortunately there are a few)

The ease of operation.
The amount of incoming links are all one way.
The amount of traffic this can generate.
The number of forums that aren't maintained and want erase your spammed URL's.

I am challenging the Spammers to a S.E Hit-Out.

So I am challenging these spammers in a hit out in the search engines, they can continue their endless spamming and I will continue my honest approach to optimisation and we will see who wins (I better win).

Do Backlink Advertising Networks Really Work?

When I first heard of backlink advertising networks, I have to admit I was more than a bit skeptical. Of course backlinks are probably the most important tool in the search engine optimization kit, but buying or acquiring backlinks in an unnatural way has always been something Google and other major search engines do not condone.

I took a look at a few networks hoping to find some answers.The first network I looked at was DigitalPoint's Coop Advertising Network (http://www.digitalpoint.com). DigitalPoint's network allows you to create either banner or text ads that will then be displayed on various websites in the network with an active backlink. Websites receive a "weight" which determines how often they appear on other sites, although it wasn't exactly clear on how a site gains weight. Further reading explained that certain factors such as Alexa Rank and number of pages showing ads may contribute to weight.

It was even possible to target your ads by category. I was very impressed with the setup. So, I installed the ad network on a few websites and, sure enough, the system started to churn out backlinks.After testing out the network, I decided to read what others were saying in their forums. Sure enough, my worst fears were realized. As I suspected, churning out links can have a negative impact on search engine rankings. Various sites complained of being completely dropped from Google or Yahoo's index.

The problem, it seems, was that links were not permanent. DigitalPoint's network rotates links as you reload a page so you have no permanent backlinks. I immediately removed the links from my sites, and moved on to analyze the next network.The next backlink advertising network I found was AdCaliber (http://www.adcaliber.com).

I quickly read over their FAQ and was pleased to find that they promised permanent backlinks that only get removed when I choose. Other than that, the system seemed similar to DigitalPoint although it was a bit more flexible in ad targeting. After creating an account, I received 100 credits which I could use to bid for backlinks. Apparently, AdCaliber works on a bidding system. You bid a monthly amount of credits to obtain links on certain sites.

For example, I bid 50 credits to obtain links on sites with a Google Pagerank of at least 5 and Alexa Rank of at least 500,000. Then, when an open ad slot appeared on a site matching those qualifications, the highest bidder would get the link. In my case, I would be debited 50 credits per month. I was very impressed with the system.

I liked having the ability to target my ads precisely. I was also impressed with the ease of installation. With AdCaliber, you don't have to upload any files to your server. You just simply paste a short PHP code on your website. It was very simple.

The only negative thing I have to say about AdCaliber is that it is much newer than DigitalPoint and its network is not as large, therefore not as many backlinks are available yet.

To sum it all up, DigitalPoint is a very effective backlink advertising network when you are looking to acquire backlinks quickly. I would not use DigitalPoint for long term SEO, though. AdCaliber seems to be your best bet for long term SEO and seems to give you better control over your backlinks.

How I get in Google top 10 using blogs, forums, webrings.

How I get listed in google within 5 days and in top 10 of my neiche subject.

It's not hard really.

1.I choose my neiche subject. (this instance I will use "adsense ready websites")

2. I start a few blogs for my subject, for instance I wanted to conquer "free adsense ready templates" so I started a few blogs on the subject, "adsense advice and tips", "adsense versus clickbank", "how to make the most out of google adsense", etc.

3. I start a webring "adsense ready templates".

you need to have two active sites in a Webring to start your own, just add them to mine, for automatic inclusion.

4. Finally I start a forum "adsense for cash forum".

5. Once I had done all that I added all my sites to my new webring (and add the webring link on each site which is required), then add all my blogs and forums to each other, automatically I have link backs to several similar sites.

6. I then add my sites to my adsense account and add adsense where apropriate.

7. Optionally you can write a few articles and include a few urls and that's it within a week I am listed in google.

Well that's the simple format, but there are a few things to also do for SEO (search engine optimistaion).

1. Choose an Appropriate URL, for my site above I include my neiche subject (the one where I want to be found when searched on Google) " adsense ready and template" it's o.k to add to existing URL .

2. Same as step one for your first line of website, normally heading or description, include your neiche Keywords, for instance I use " Download free adsense ready templates here ".

3. Always keep your blogs and Forums up to date, even if you cheat and use articles and copy some text for your blogs, because the more information and text in your blog or forum the better.

4. A few pictures also help, when saving pictures to hard drive or if they're already there name them similar to your keywords (the ones you want found in search engine) for mine I would call them "adsense ready template" and then upload to your site or blogs.

What you may not realise is that each new thread and subject in blog will also be added to Google as a seperate listing, so the more threads and topics the more Google ground you will cover.

And this is the Google sequence :

your webring will be listed in Google within a couple of days.

Websites will be listed, maybe not so high at first.

Add more text to forums and blogs (not really neccessary but recommended).

Websites begin to feed off the Webring, usually gets a high result in "neiche Webring" first, for example "adsense ready websites" will be number 1 for "adsense ready websites webring".

One of your blogs or Forum usually gets a leap ahead of the rest, as this one climbs up Google then it adds credibility to your other blogs and websites elevating them in Google Rankings aswell, that cycle goes on and very quickly your sites will have a higher Ranking in Google.

After some practice you will be able to master this practice and have listings in the top 10 of Google for free and within 5-7 days.

P.S If you already have a website or affiliate site you wish to promote just add it to your neiche blogs and sites aswell.

not Just any webring or blogs will have the same effect though.

You may have in your digital inventory the best products in the world, but they won?t mean squat if no one would get to see them. This is why each and every online businessman will fight tooth and nail just to have a piece of the Internet traffic. After all, the more visitors who get to visit your site, the more potential clients you have.

And blogs can most definitely help you drive visitors to your pages. Here is how you could use them to achieve such a purpose:

2. Remember that good content is always at the heart of a progressive online traffic stream. 4. Links from blogs are unilateral, meaning, they are one way links to your websites. The more traffic a unilateral link generates, the more it becomes prominent in online searches. Avoid reciprocal links at all costs! Do not include a link to your blog from your website. Search engines abhor reciprocal linking.

5. 80% of your traffic will come from the search engines. You have to tweak your blog to attract the attention of the search engine spiders. Now, blogs are already search engine friendly. However, there is a very big possibility that you would be competing with other blogs on the same subject. You have to make sure that once you upload your blog, it is able to outperform its competitors in the search engine rankings.

One way you can do this is by using the title of your post to match the keyword phrases you are targeting, plus put a sprinkling of your keyword phrase in the post itself. I am doing this with great results.

6. Check your blog offline. It should be as readable and as navigable as possible for your prospective readers. Make appropriate adjustments if necessary.

7. Upload your blog to a reliable server that has enough bandwidth to accommodate many viewers.

8. Constantly update your blog. Search engines love regularly updated content, so publishing new entries will greatly increase your blog?s page rank, and consequently, your main website?s traffic.

9. Accepting links from other related blogs will also bring to your site some traffic from sources other then search engines. The way that a blog is designed fosters the building of a community of blog sites, and this will provide for an added stream of visitors for you.

10. You could also decide to enroll your blog site in the Google AdSense advertising program. This will give you an additional income stream. We will discuss this in future articles.

Blogs are excellent promotional tools for your existing business. Use them well and you will harvest the rewards in a matter of weeks.
